Introducing the new Level 6 Trinity Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT) – A Professional Development Course
An internationally accredited online teacher development course which helps teachers apply new skills in their current classrooms.
This course is designed for teachers working in both online and physical classrooms, with course options focusing on each type of teaching in any context anywhere in the world.
Course Options:
There are 2 course options to choose from:
1. CertPT for Online Teachers
This course for online teachers of English develops participants’ skills in resource evaluation, design, adaptation and delivery, and increases awareness of e-pedagogy and effective online methodologies.
2. CertPT for Language Educators
This course is designed for English language educators with a minimum language level of CEFR B2 (IELTS 6) with 6 months of professional experience, who are looking to develop their skills in the settings where they teach.

Who can take this course?
The Trinity CertPT is open to teachers with over 6 months of professional experience, and a language proficiency of CEFR B2 (IELTS 6) and above.
What areas of ESOL does the course focus on?
The CertPT course is designed to develop teachers’ skills in whatever subject they teach, as long as it is delivered in English. Our trainers have experience working with teachers in EAP, CLIL, young learners settings, exam-focused classes, business English, ESP and many more fields within TESOL.
How is the course delivered?
Courses are delivered entirely online, with input videos, written tasks and collaborative work between teachers. We also deliver live online tutorials with course trainers, and you have lots of chances to connect with the other teachers on your course.
Who are the trainers?
The course is brought to you by “Language Point” trainers (A UK Registered Company No. 1182396). All trainers are highly experienced TESOL practitioners who hold post-graduate qualifications in TESOL. All trainers are approved by Trinity College London and work on other teacher education courses such as the Trinity CertTESOL, DipTESOL, Cambridge CELTA and DELTA.
