Trinity exams are globally recognised and authorised by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and other educational institutions around the world. Trinity's TESOL qualification is acknowledged by most employers around the world. British Council welcome new and experienced teachers having a Trinity TESOL certificate in their various teaching organisations within United Kingdom and at various teaching institutes throughout the world.

Trinity is a member of professional language organisations worldwide, including the European Association for Quality Language Services (EAQUALS), the European Associating for Language Testing And Assessment (EALTA), the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL), Quality in TESOL Education (Quite) and The Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE).
Trinity consists of trained professionals as their examination panelist who access the qualifications based on the same set of standards and guidelines. This assessment procedure will not vary acorss the 60 plus countries, thus ensuring consistency in the criteria for application and other procedures.
The examination sessions are supervised by Trinity's academic and operational staff, who are based at their head office in London. They also hold the responsibility for the quality assurance of assessment processes and syllabuses. This work is scrutinised, monitored and reviewed by a number of regulatory authorities worldwide which aim to ensure the quality of education and examinations within their respective countries.
The CertTESOL course is registered under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (Course Registration 250562). It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.
