Trinity CertTESOL Application Process Explained

• Download the application form and pre-interview task, and complete them as the first step in your course application.
• Do a little research to complete the tasks, but don’t stress too much - you will have the opportunity to discuss these responses more fully with your interviewer when you meet them.
• When you have sent in your application form, you will hear from a representative who will organise a time and place for your interview.
• This can be done face to face, by telephone or via Skype.
• Remember to prepare a form of ID, an original certificate demonstrating your highest academic achievement to date and an up-to-date CV.
• During the 45-minute interview, you will talk about attitudes to teaching and learning, an experience from your own path as a learner, and discuss some aspects of language learning which are relevant to your role as a teacher.
• After running through your responses to the pre-interview task, you will be given the result of the interview and your place on an available course will be confirmed.
